METROPOLIS, IL (KFVS) - The body of a missing man from a Paducah, Kentucky shelter has been found in Metropolis, Illinois.

Jonathan Crass, 46, went missing from the River City Mission on October 4.

The search for Crass was suspended after an extensive search of the wooded, grassy, and swampy areas near the River City Mission by foot, search dogs, with ATVs and boats.

A rural Metropolis property owner found Crass' body when he went into a seldom used garage on October 14.

No foul play is suspected.  Crass has a history of mental and physical health issues, according to Illinois State Police.

An autopsy performed on October 15 revealed signs of dehydration and malnutrition.  Toxicology results are pending.
