Two arrested after traffic stop turns into foot pursuit in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale Police arrested two men after a traffic stop turned into a foot pursuit.

Anthony E. Perry, 42, and Kevin R. Ivy, 47, both of Carbondale face several charges.

Carbondale Police stopped a car in the 400 block of East Oak Street on September 1 at 10 p.m. when the driver and passenger got out and ran from police, according to the Carbondale Police Department.

Perry was arrested on aggravated fleeing to elude, resisting a peace officer, improper lane use and several other traffic violations charges.

Ivy was arrested on resisting a peace officer and illegal transportation of alcohol charges.

Both were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
