ST LOUIS, MO (KFVS) - A lawsuit filed by a Ku Klux Klan group in Missouri can go on as planned.
On Wednesday a federal judge rejected a state request to dismiss the suit.
The group sued in April, after the state refused to rent them a picnic pavilion at the Fort Davidson Historic site in Ironton.
The state said the group could not meet the insurance requirements. The KKK said the refusal violated its free speech rights.
The group is now trying to rent the same picnic pavilion in October.
