CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - An alleged cattle rustler faces charges in Cape Girardeau County.
Sheriff John Jordan says 31-year-old Clyde Satterfield, Jr., of Perryville took 30-head of cattle valued at $3000 from the Fruitland Livestock Sales Barn, then claimed a man named Jack Meyer from Illinois would pay for it.
Jordan says it turns out, there was no such person.
Authorities arrested Satterfield; he's since posted $15,000 bond.
