PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Emergency responders from six states spent the day in Paducah to talk about natural disasters.
Folks from Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee learned how to better prepare for things like flooding and earthquakes.
Frank Wideman with the University of Missouri extension in Perryville says this type of training is crucial.
Those in attendance also learned how to survive and cope mentally with a natural disaster.
