Glenallen man killed, three injured in crash near Delta

DELTA, MO (KFVS) - A wreck about four miles north of Delta late Saturday night killed a young man from Glenallen, MO, and injured several others.

A crash report from the Missouri Highway Patrol states that Damian J. Massa, 21, was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m. Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

The report says Massa was driving a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 east bound on Route T around 11:30 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle drove off the left side of the road, overcorrected, went off the right side and overturned several times.

The crash ejected three people who were in the vehicle with Massa.  Andrew Dockins, 25, also of Glenallen, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while Alisha M. Slaner, 18, and Jodie J. Slaner 19, both of Cape Girardeau were seriously injured.

No one was reportedly wearing seat belts, and the exact cause of the crash was not known.
