Motorcycle crash kills Dexter woman

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - A Dexter woman has been killed after a motorcycle crash in Ripley County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, it happened around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon on Highway 21, one mile south of highway NN.

The patrol crash report states the wreck happened after a tire blowout.

The motorcycle skidded into a ditch, throwing both the driver and the passenger.

The passenger, 57-year-old Debra Algood of Dexter, was killed in the wreck.

The driver, 53-year-old James Algood also of Dexter, was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
