Afternoon update: Check your fridge for tainted meat

The former chief deputy in Saline County, Illinois accused of sexual assault and official misconduct announced his retirement today to the sheriff.  Arnold Wyrick has more details about the retirement effective immediately.

Check your fridge! Roast beef and ham that was distributed to Walmart delicatessens nationwide and sold in sandwiches has been recalled because it might be tainted with potentially harmful bacteria, the officials said today.

Police arrested seven people after a meth lab bust in DeSoto, Missouri.
