CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Police arrested a 17-year-old after a shooting that injured a man on August 15.
Corey Eurekas Turner, 17, of Sikeston faces 1st degree assault and armed criminal action charges.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the right shoulder at Bloomfield and Hanover streets in Cape Girardeau on August 15.
The first officer on scene estimated about 100 people in the area.
Turner was one of the subjects who was originally arrested the night of the shooting but later released due to lack of evidence.
Witnesses' testimony identified Turner as the shooter, according to Cape Girardeau Police.
Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers arrested Turner on Saturday. He was taken to the Cape Girardeau County Jail on $100,000 bond.
