JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's deputies are looking into a fire that happened over the weekend and no one noticed.
According to deputies they got a call Monday evening about a fire on County Road 459.
When they arrived deputies discovered a barn that had been destroyed by fire.
When the owner of the barn, Gary Wendell, showed up he noticed that his old home across the road had also burned down.
Investigators believe the fire happened over the weekend and no one noticed it burning.
Sheriff's deputies are investigating and say the fires are suspicious.
