Two Stoddard Co. women injured in Friday wreck

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A Friday afternoon traffic crash injures two Stoddard County women.

It happened around 3:20 p.m. on US Highway 60 at the intersection of County Road 717.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 53-year-old Tracy Crutchfield of Dexter was driving southbound on 717 when she pulled out onto us 60 in front of a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Dana Pope of Essex.

Troopers say pope was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and received moderate injuries. She was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.

Crutchfield was seriously injured and was airlifted to a Cape Girardeau hospital. It's unclear if she was wearing a safety belt.
