Hanky Tanky Hanger: Does it Work?

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO  (KFVS) - We've shown you closet organizers before, but now the new Hanky Tanker says it's better. There aren't any swinging arms or dragging clothing to eat up your closet space. Heartland News producer/reporter Stephanie Byars sees some promise in this product.

"Things I've used in the past just don't work. If they did, you'd see them in here now."

Steph has limited closet space, like any of us gals, right? She already doubles up her tanks onto one hanger, but with the Hanky Tanky Hanger, she can fit 12 in one.

"We're not even finished yet,  and I'm getting rid of all these hangers."

Maybe she'll have to go shopping now with all the extra space?

"What a great reason to shop!"

Before she breaks out the wallet, let's see how this works.

"I think it would be worth it. The swivel is nice."

Take our advice: when you're trying to pull one of your shirts from the middle of this hanger, tip it and it makes it much easier to slide off a garment.

"That's easier."

Steph says it feels sturdy, even though this is basically made of PVC pipe you slide into place.

"I would not pay $20 for it."

Right now, the Hanky Tanky retails for $15 plus shipping and handling. For that reason alone, Steph says she'd buy it, but only when it's sold in stores at a cheaper price.

"The biggest advantage is it gives more space."

You'll still have some clothing hanging lower than others, so it may not work in closets with double racks.

"Better than other things I've tried."

The Hanky Tanky Hanger is swanky with a good grade 'B' on this Does it Work test.  Right now, you can only buy it online at www.hankytankyhanger.com
