Murder trial date set for Tambra Turner

By Heartland News

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - A trial date has been set for a Sikeston woman charged with murder.

The Tambra Turner trial will begin on November 17 in Jackson.

Turner is accused of shooting 20-year-old Chabreshea Egson at a home in Cape Girardeau back in February of 2008.

The Turner trial originally was to take place in St. Louis, but the prosecution and defense both agree it will be easier to bring witnesses back and forth to court if the trial is held in Jackson.

Even though the trial will be held in Cape Girardeau County, the jury hearing the case will be brought in from another county.
