PINCKNEYVILLE, IL (KFVS) - The 15-year-old suspect in the death of a Pinckneyville teen will be tried as an adult.
During a hearing Monday morning in Perry County, the teen's case was transferred from juvenile court to adult court.
Last week the Perry County State's Attorney's office charged 15-year-old Robby Mueller with one count of First Degree Murder and One Count of First Degree Murder (Accountability).
Mueller is currently being held in the Perry County Jail without bond.
Two other teens also face charges in the death of 15-year-old Sidnee Stephens.
They are 18-year-old Carl Dane and 17-year-old James Glaizer. According to the sheriff, Dane is eligible for the death penalty.
A fisherman found Stephens' body floating in the Beaucoup Creek around 5 p.m. Sunday July 25.
Funeral service for Stephens took place Saturday.
