KSP investigates after deadly Marion, KY fire

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Police are investigating the death of a person after a fire Sunday afternoon on Wilson Farm Road near Marion, KY.

Glenda J. Tinsley, 47, of Marion, KY died from smoke inhalation, according to Kentucky State Police.

Kentucky State Police responded at 3:15 p.m. and found a person trapped inside the engulfed house.

Once the fire was put out, the Tinsley was found and pronounced dead.

The Kentucky Fire Marshal's Office, Crittenden County Sheriff Department, Crittenden County Coroners Office, Caldwell Springs Fire Department, Sheridan Fire Department, Shady Grove Fire Department, Crittenden County Fire Department, Sturgis Fire Department, Mattoon Fire Department, Sturgis Fire Department, Fredonia Fire Department, Caldwell County Fire Department, Marion Fire Department and the Four Rivers Canine Search/Rescue Team also responded to the fire.
