Boil water order lifted for Pittsburg, IL

PITTSBURG, IL (KFVS) - UPDATE: The boil water order for the village of Pittsburg has been lifted.

Parts of the village of Pittsburg, Illinois are under a boil water order as of 1 p.m. Friday.

City officials say the order affects all customers on New Virginia Road, while workers try to repair a water main break.

Officials also say that all affected customers should boil water used for drinking or cooking for at least five minutes.
