Officers investigate restaurant burglaries

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Marion Police Department are asking for the public's help locating the suspects in a pair of recent burglaries at two local Triple E Barbeque restaurants.

Around 10:15 on July 23, the Marion Police Department received a burglar alarm at the Triple E restaurant on the north side of Marion.  When officers arrived they found that someone had broken into the building on the back side. Investigators said the suspects took the safe, and left through the front door.

Two days later, on July 25 just before 11:00 p.m. the Williamson County Sheriff's Office received a burglar alarm at the Triple E restaurant on Lake of Egypt Road.  When Deputies arrived they found that the rear of this business had also been forcibly entered, although nothing was taken.

Right now, there is no suspect or vehicle information.
