BENTON, MO (KFVS) - A 17-year-old girl accused of running over another teen pleaded not guilty Wednesday in court.
Brianna Branson faces second degree murder, tampering with evidence, and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Police say Branson and 18-year-old Kendra Gray were at an underage drinking party Saturday night when they got into a fight over a boy. That fight ended up outside on Westview Street.
Police say Branson got in her truck and drove at Gray to possibly scare her, but hit her.
Branson appeared through video conference from the Scott County Justice Center Wednesday afternoon.
Branson's lawyer requested a reduction of her bond. It is set at $150,000 cash only. A bond hearing is set for August 4.
Gray's mother and brother were inside the courtroom.
