CAPE COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - People in Cape County got a first chance to hear from 7 of 8 candidates after the seat for presiding commissioner.
The primary is August 3rd.
People had questions about everything from paving roads to bringing in jobs and industry.
The forum took place at the MU Extension office in Jackson. So many people crowded in they had to bring extra chairs. Questions from the crowd also included interest in candidates volunteer service, and what they would do with the old Federal Building on Broadway as far as using it for Courthouse purposes.
Winners of the August 3rd primary face off in the November General Election.
