CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Four juveniles who may be responsible for several thefts in the Cape Girardeau area are now behind bars according to police.
Cape Girardeau Police Sgt. Jason Selzer said a neighbor phoned police after seeing the juveniles breaking into a home on the 1500 block of Bloomfield Road late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Police responded to the scene and arrested all four suspects.
The juveniles are between 14 and 16 years old.
A search uncovered several other items believed to have been stolen in several other recent home and auto burglaries in the Cape area, Selzer said. It wasn't immediately clear what the items were, nor exactly where they may have been stolen from.
