McCracken Co. Ky (KFVS) - A two car pile-up on I-24 involving a Kentucky state tractor sent six people to the hospital just after 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Witnesses of the tractor say it was partially on the interstate fog line in the median when Lakeysha Sockwell, 27, changed lanes to avoid the tractor.

The car behind Sockwell was driven by Austin West, 22, could not avoid hitting the tractor and struck the tire that was partially in the roadway.

The while Sockwell was changing lanes, West hit the rear of her car.

Kenneth Jones, 23, driver of the tractor was not hurt but there was damage to the tractor.

Sockwell, her brother and three children along with West were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
