Today is Wednesday, July 21
This morning on The Breakfast Show we have a lot of new stories for you. Brian will also have a full serving of a good, bad and ugly forecast (all depending on what you like or need). But if you can't get enough weather - add a side of blog to your plate and check out Brian's extended thoughts on-line this morning.
One of the big news stories today may end up being a decision by former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich's legal team to not have him take the stand in his corruption trial - in fact they may not even call a single witness. Look for much more on this throughout the morning.
Overnight there was also a scare on a passenger jet flying across country. We'll be showing you what caused dozens of people to be rushed to Denver hospitals after an emergency landing.
Also new this morning - at 5:45 we're talking about the auto industry bailout. We have new information from the government regarding dealerships being closed during the restructuring. Turns out it might not have been such a good idea after all - but of course there's at least 2 sides to this story.
Then - at 6:15 this morning - have you ever gotten a card that leaves a bad taste in your mouth? How about a good taste? Lauren is getting the help of local office workers to test out American Greetings new Tasties greeting cards.
And around 6:45 on The Breakfast Show Holly Brantley is introducing us to a local man who's taking it upon himself to promote the town he loves on the internet.
As always - thanks for checking in with us - we do appreciate you waking up with us.
