CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - An Oran man was sentenced Tuesday to five years probation for destroying mail.
The U.S. States Attorney's Office says Lance W. Kinder, 25, who plead guilty of the crime in April, was sentenced to probation and a $2000 fine with home confinement for six months.
The former U.S. postal employee admits to not delivering all of the mail he received and dumped part of it into the Diversion Channel.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Postal Service.
