PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A man driving a motorcycle was killed Tuesday after a crash at an intersection in Paducah.
It happened at 8:37 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 60 (Hinkleville Road) and Olivet Church Road.
William T. Coplen, 68, was driving through on a Honda motorcycle. Nellie Devine, 72, of Calvert City, was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla west on U.S. 60 when she told police she didn't see the motorcycle as she turned left onto Olivet Church Road.
The motorcyclist hit Devine's Toyota Corolla in the passenger side.
Coplin was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a retired Ballard County deputy sheriff.
Devine and her two passengers were taken to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment of apparent minor injuries.
