Part of I-57 reopens after crash and search for missing worker ends

Good Evening.

It's been a busy day in the Heartland!  Emergency crews are still on the scene of a deadly wreck on I-57 that killed two people and seriously injured a third person.  It happened around 2:00p.m. in Franklin County, IL.

Right now the southbound lanes are open but the northbound aren't.  We're now learning 7 vehicles were involved including 4 semis.  Julia Bruck has been following the story and she'll have the latest tonight at 10pm.

Also, workers at one local business got a little nervous when one of their co-workers didn't show up for work.  They started calling around trying to find him.  We'll let you know how they found him and the condition he was in when they did.

And the clouds started rolling in to the area this evening.  Is rain in the forecast?   Bob has the answer in the Stormteam Forecast.

So join us for Heartland News at ten.

See you then
