Afternoon update: Deadly crash shuts down interstate, homicide investigation

Boy, it's been a very busy afternoon in the newsroom!  First, there's a deadly crash on Interstate 57 that has shut down both lanes.  Two people are dead and injuries are reported.  The Franklin County Sheriff's Department called it a "catastrophic crash." It happened on the 65.5 mile marker near West Frankfort.  Drivers are urged to use alternate routes.  We have some amazing pictures sent to us through cNews.  We'll have the very latest.

The Ripley County Sheriff's Department is investigating a homicide after one of two bodies found after a house fire over the weekend had gunshot wounds.  Tyler Profilet gives us the latest in the investigation.

The body of a 19-year-old was found early this morning on the side of Hwy. 72 near Fredericktown.
