Man charged with DUI after rear ending deputy's car

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah man is in trouble with the law after slamming into the back of a deputy's cruiser.

It happened shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday in Graves County.

Richard Hamm, 26, was driving south on US 45 when he failed to stop at a red light and hit the rear end of the deputy in front of him.

Hamm went to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

The officer was not hurt.

Hamm now faces DUI charges.
