Six people arrested in connection with Murray home invasion

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - Two Murray men face attempted murder charges for an attempted burglary and four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Murray police responded to a 911 call of shots reportedly fired at a home on Robin Hood Lane at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday July 13.

Police say homeowner Chuck Wynn and a suspect were wounded.

Wynn said two men entered his home trying to burglarize it.  Wynn and one of the suspects were injured in an exchange of gunfire.

Wynn was taken to Murray Calloway Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Detectives found two of the suspects at the Marshall County Hospital.

Cortez Beckman, 32, of Murray was taken to the Calloway County Jail on $500,000 bond for an attempted murder charge.

Terrence Silas, 20, of Murray was being held in custody at an area hospital on an attempted murder charge.

Police also arrested Laken Knight, 18, Haley Petty, 18, Monta Harper, 25, and Terry Flager, 49, in connection with the attempted robbery.

Murray Police are continuing the investigation.
