Major Case Squad called in to investigate deadly fire

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - We now know the name of a man killed Friday morning in a deadly fire near Dexter.

According to Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Heffner, the victim is 64 year old Don Cox.

The fire happened just before 7:00a.m. at the Gaslight Village trailer park just off County Road 405.

When fire crews arrived on the scene, Cox's RV was engulfed in flames.

No word on a cause.

Members of the Stoddard County Major Case Squad and the Fire Marshall are investigating.

No foul play suspected.
