Paducah police seek man involved in assault, shoplifting

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Police want help identifying a man accused of assaulting two women during a shoplifting incident at Kroger on Saturday, June 26.

A Kroger employee told police she saw a man put merchandise into his messenger bag and try to leave the store without paying for it.

Police say two employees tried to stop the man but he shoved her into a wall and grabbed the other employee by the arm and tried to push her to the ground. The man fled the store.

The suspect is a  black male, 5'8" to 5'9", wearing a dark T-shirt and plaid shorts.
