PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah man was arrested after the cab he was driving rear-ended another vehicle Friday morning on the access road in front of Home Depot.

Sara Stratton, 26, told police she waited to turn left into the parking lot of the shopping complex when her Grand Prix was hit in the rear by a Chiz Cabz van, driven by 21-year-old Timothy Clark.

Police said Clark appeared intoxicated and admitted having taken several prescription medications last night and reports state that he failed several field sobriety tests at the scene.

Clark was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, police said.

Stratton was taken to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment.  A passenger in her car Ashton Stratton, 6, was not reported injured, nor was Clark.  There were no passengers in his cab.
