Calloway Co. jail inmate escaped, captured in same day

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - A Calloway County Jail escapee is in more trouble after he escaped from the Calloway County Jail and was recaptured on Sunday.

Steven A. Beasley, 29, used another inmate's identity to bond himself out of jail, according to Kentucky State Police.

KSP reports Beasley's girlfriend, Brooke Love, picked him up from the jail.

Beasley was being held in the Calloway County Jail on a drug trafficking charge in Graves County.

Officers found Beasley and his girlfriend at South 10th Street in Murray.

Steven Beasley, 29, of Murray, was charged with escape 2nd degree, forgery 2nd degree, theft of identity, and theft by unlawful taking under $500.

Brooke Love, 19, of Murray, was charged with complicity to escape 2nd degree.  She was also served with warrants out of Daviess County.
