QUEEN CITY, Mo. (AP) - Republican Roy Blunt says he has completed his quest to visit all 114 counties and the city of St. Louis as part of his U.S. Senate campaign.
Blunt said he accomplished the feat as he campaigned Saturday in Queen City, which is in rural Schuyler County in northern Missouri. Blunt also said he now has attended more than 500 campaign events.
Blunt is a congressman from southwest Missouri and is seeking to replace retiring Republican Sen. Kit Bond.
The leading Democratic candidate in the race is Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.
