  • Text “storm” to 91212 to receive severe weather alerts. The viewer will receive a bounceback message asking for the name of the county. Frequency varies, up to 5 per day, per selection
    • Do not text in the name of the city. If you live in a county with two words, text that county altogether without spaces. For example: capegirardeau or stegenevieve.
    • Since we have two Perry counties in the Heartland, those who text “perry” will receive another bounceback asking for either “perryil” or “perrymo”.
  • Text “news” to 91212 to receive breaking news alerts. Frequency varies, up to 5 per day
  • Text “weather” to 91212 to receive the daily three day forecast. 1 message per day delivered at 7 AM local time
