Students graduate from construction pilot program

By Heartland News

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - There will be 13 new graduates in Cape Girardeau this week, trained in various areas of construction.

Those participating in the training spent four weeks learning everything from welding to CPR.

Those in charge say the pilot program really helps the students become more marketable in today's workforce.

Students say it's the kind of hands on training they can't get anywhere else.

The program is in cooperation with Delta companies, the Cape Career and Technology Center, and Wired.
