PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Officers arrested four people accused in methamphetamine related offenses.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division received a tip of meth trafficking at 1612 Clark Street in Paducah Tuesday.

Detectives saw a car that was suspected to be used in supplying meth to a person at the house.

Officers stopped the car about 40 minutes later and found several hundred dollars believed to be the proceeds of a meth sale on James T. Dahl.  Officers also found $800 worth of meth that was hidden in three plastic baggies in the passenger's, Candace L. Mescher's, undergarment along with several doses of Sudafed.

Forty more doses of Sudafed were found in the car.

Police arrested Christopher Harris of Brookport, IL after finding several doses of Sudafed, a plastic baggy containing methamphetamine, doses of Xanax, doses of Klonopin and a set of digital scales with suspected meth residue in his car in the parking lot at 2301 North 8th Street.

Officers went back to 1612 Clark Street in Paducah and arrested Angel Raye early Wednesday morning after finding numerous items consistent with drug trafficking.

James T. Dahl 39, of Brookport, IL faces charges of trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance-meth and tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of a meth precursor.

Candace L. Mescher 26, of Brookport, IL faces charges of complicity to Trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance-meth, tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of a meth precursor.

Christopher G. Harris 29, of Brookport, IL faces charges of distribution of a meth precursor, Possession of a controlled substance 1st- Meth, possession of 3rd degree controlled substance- Klonopin, drug paraphernalia possession and possession of a controlled substance- Xanax.

Angel L. Raye 32, of Clark Street in Paducah, KY faces charges of trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance-meth and unlawful distribution of a meth precursor.

All four suspects were taken to the McCracken County Jail.

McCracken and Marshall County sheriff's detectives assisted in the investigation.
