Search continues for missing Pittsburg man

By Arnold Wyrick

PITTSBURG, IL(KFVS)-It was one month ago when Joel Moore told his brother Nathan that he was going to go hang out with some friends for the night.

The night of March 27th is the last time anyone in the Moore family heard from Joel. And nobody has seen or heard from him since that night.

"We were hanging out that Friday night. And then Saturday came and I went to work, "says Nathan Moore.

"Joel was sleeping at the time I left for work. And when I got done working he texted me. That was the last time we've heard from him."

Joel texted that he was going to go hang out with some old friends in town. And that he may stay the night if he started drinking.

Moore never made to that meeting with his friends. And his 1991 Cadillac white/ gray trim has never been found. The license plate number is A369209.

This past Sunday was Joel's 28th birthday, but there was no celebration in the Moore family.

"It was a month ago Sunday when he went missing and it was his birthday. So that was a tough day," Nathan said with tears in his eyes.

The family will get Joel's phone records from his cell phone company on Thursday. And they're hoping there will be something in there that will lead to Joel.

"We've just got to hope and pray that he's okay. That he is out there somewhere, somebody knows something and that they will contact us.
