Boy Scouts ordered to pay largest award in abuse case

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A Portland, Oregon. jury has ordered the Boy Scouts of America to pay $18.5 million to a man sexually abused by a former assistant Scoutmaster.

The award is believed to be the largest such award against the national organization.

The jury noted that the Boy Scouts never apologized to Kerry Lewis.
