Two charged with providing marijuana to juveniles

WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) - Two West Frankfort residents faces several charges after police say they provided juveniles marijuana and a house to use the marijuana.

Mary A. Snell, 56, is charged with three counts of unlawfully contributing to the criminal delinquency of a juvenile, each a Class 4 felony.

Brian L. Heilman, 36, is charged with three counts of unlawfully contributing to the criminal delinquency of a juvenile, each a Class 4 felony, another count of unlawfully contributing to the criminal delinquency of a juvenile a Class X felony for soliciting a person under 17 years of age to sell a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of controlled substance a Class 1 felony.

West Frankfort Police say Snell and Heilman provided juveniles marijuana out of their home at 303 S. Monroe Street.  Police also say Heilman delivered a controlled substance to a juvenile and tried to get the juvenile to sell it for him.

Officers found marijuana, pharmaceutical medications and paraphernalia utilized to introduce marijuana as well as other controlled substances into the body.

Both Snell and Heilman were taken to the Franklin County Jail.
