Man, woman accused of stealing from two elderly women

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - Dexter police arrested a man and woman Friday accused of stealing from two elderly women.

The Dexter Police Department was contacted by an 88-year-old woman on April 1.  Police say the woman's wallet was stolen by a woman claiming to be with Home Health Care.

Police got another call from an 89-year-old woman saying her change purse and money were stolen by two people.

John L. Simpson, 34, and Tonya Simpson, 24, both of Dexter face two counts each of class B felony of financial exploitation of the elderly and two counts each of class B felony of burglary in the first degree.
