DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - The city of Dexter will get over $117,000 in federal grant money for a new pumper fire truck.

U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill announced Friday the Rural Development Community Facility Grant Program is giving the money to Dexter.

The grant program is from the United States Department of Agriculture. The USDA says the program provides funds to areas affected by natural disasters and assists in the development, construction or improvement of important community facilities.
