MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - A car crash on a Murray intersection leaves a woman, three kids and a 75-year-old man injured.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Stephen Redden, 75, was driving a 2001 Ford truck south on Peach Orchard Road when he did not yield. Laura Hester, 33, was driving a 2004 Dodge truck east on Poor Farm Road and struck Redden's truck on the side. Hester's three kids: Brianna Hopkins, 10; Ethan Hopkins, 12 and Shannon Hopkins, 15, were in the truck with her.

The Kentucky State Police say both trucks came to a stop on their side off the side of the road against a utility road.

All five were reported injured. Redden was taken to the Murray Calloway County hospital by ambulance. Hester and her children were taken to the same hospital by a private vehicle.
