(KFVS) - Two Heartland school districts are among 15 Illinois school districts receiving federal grants to enhance literacy and math education with technology.
Herrin and Unity Point in Carbondale.
Herrin's grant will total $660,000.
Unity Point will received $675,000.
The stimulus money will pay for items such as laptop computers, computer notebooks and other "one-to-one" technological devices.
