MCLEAN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Illinois State Police are searching for two people accused of trying to run over a trooper Monday morning and wanted on several charges out of Arkansas.

Cory Mathew Wolf, 31, and Brittany D. Thompson, 24, are wanted on out-of-state warrants.

A state trooper made contact with a man and woman in a parked blue Ford F-150 in truck parking area of the I-55 Funk's Grover Rest Area just south of Bloomington, Illinois, according to Illinois State Police.

The trooper saw what looked like the steering column of the truck had been tampered with.  That's when Wolf tried to hit the trooper with the truck, according to ISP.

The truck was last seen heading west into Tazewell County.

Mathew Wolf, 31, is described as a white male, 5'5", 150 pounds, with closely shaved (brown) hair, blue eyes and many tattoos.  He is wanted by the Mayes County, Oklahoma Sheriff's Office on warrants for shooting with intent to kill and 1st degree burglary and wanted by the Benton County, Arkansas Sheriff's Officer on warrants for flight to avoid prosecution on felony residential burglary charges.

Brittany D. Thompson, 24, is described as a white female, 5'6", 120 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes.  She is wanted on a warrant by the Benton County, Arkansas Sheriff's Office for obstructing police/hindering apprehension.

The suspects were last seen driving a stolen blue 1995 Ford F150 regular cab pickup truck bearing Oklahoma registration 582 ANK.  This vehicle has been reported stolen in Tahlequah, Oklahoma Police Department.

Wolf and Thompson are considered armed and dangerous.
