Two Oran, MO men arrested after police find meth precursors

BENTON, MO (KFVS) - Two Oran men were arrested Monday after deputies served a warrant on their home and found precursors to making meth.

Charles Taylor Jr. and Kevin Dennis were in possession of precursors used in making meth, according to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.

When deputies searched the home, they found items used for making meth along with a white residue that tested positive for meth.

Taylor has been charged with attempting to manufacture, a class B felony. Dennis has also been charged with attempting to manufacture and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony.

Both were taken to the Scott County Jail with bonds set at $25,000 cash only.
