Tamaroans Organize Class Action Suit

Tamaroans Organize Class Action Suit
By: Wes Wallace

A number of Tamaroa homeowners and business owners are taking legal action against the railroad company who's train derailed in their town.

This after a nearly a week of evacuations and another week of trying to get back to normal.

Thursday afternoon, a team of attorneys filed a class action lawsuit against Canadian National, seeking damages caused by their derailed train.

One unique aspect of suit involves a count of 'trespass'. Lawyers claim the spilled chemicals trespassed on private property when several tanker cars left the tracks. On Friday evening, the attorneys will meet with many folks from Tamaroa to explain the lawsuit and invite them to join the list of plaintiffs.
