Say goodbye to sinking and getting stuck in the grass? Oh, and say hello to TV's Leeza Gibbons. "OK, my friend Leeza wears heels better than anybody I know" says KLTV's Joe Terrell. "I only wear them
But in a world where we encase our cell phones, our sunglasses - we even sell cases to cover our suitcases - do we really need cap covers for our high heels?

Sherry Brown's home is full of her pet--Diamond, the shorthaired black cat; Harry, who's well...hairy and certainly lives up to his long-haired breed characteristics; and finally her long-haired dachsund pup, Bella.  So, this should be a good test for the PetZoom.

"Gonna brush you and make you all pretty," Sherry said as she picked up Harry.

Harry loves the PetZoom, except when we move to his belly.  Still, there's no tugging at all when we groom him.

"He says we can do this all day," she said.

Sherry doesn't know if that holds true for her.  She likes the brush she already has.  It's called the Fur Buster.  Sure enough, it does pull out more hair than the PetZoom.

When we put the hair trimmer tool in place, the PetZoom does give the Fur Buster some competition.  It did trim some fur.  Before we try this on the other pets, time to see if the Pet Zoom truly is self-cleaning.

It takes a few more clicks and flings of the wrist, but then the fur does pop out of place, and Diamond likes it.

"She's purring."

Although it's obvious by the few strands of fur, the PetZoom works better on long-haired cats like Harry than sleek Diamond.

Last but certainly not least, excited Bella wants her turn.  Bella eats it up.  She likes to be petzoomed forwards, backwards and on her belly, but an extra belly scratch doesn't hurt either.

Once again, with a few clicks, PetZoom does self-clean.  It also picks up on the furniture as promised.

"I think Bella would give it an A plus," Sherry said.

"It does what it says it's gonna do.  I just think there are other products that maybe do better," she said.

I agree...the $17 dollar PetZoom self-cleaning brush grooms a good grade 'B' on this Does it Work test.  I personally like the FurMinator grooming tool I previously featured on Does it Work Wednesday much better.  I also wonder how long PetZoom will hold up over time.  You can find it at Wal-Mart and Walgreens.
