Police: Three arrested after man hit with car, attempted robbery

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Police arrested three people after they apparently hit a person with their car and attempted to rob the victim.
Christopher Wayne Roper, 18, of Dexter and Justin Patterson, 17, of Sikeston were taken to jail on $100,000 cash bond.
Police tell Heartland News the victim was walking in the area of Frisco and Dorothy Streets when a car came from behind and hit the person.
Roper and Patterson face 1st degree assault, robbery and armed criminal action charges. 
A 16 year old was taken to the Mississippi County Detention Center.
The victim has minor injuries.
