Man arrested on several charges after standoff at home

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Sikeston police arrested a 29-year-old man wanted on several charges after a standoff at his home in the 700 block of Cotton Square.
Demetrius Patterson was wanted for a felony of possession of controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and a misdemeanor of delivery or possession of an item prohibited at a county jail and two burglaries from April 12th at two businesses called My Sister's Closet and the Midwest Music store on South Main Street.
Police found several televisions and other items that were stolen from Lewis Furniture at 650 W. Malone on Tuesday night at Patterson's home.  Officers also found a stolen Lewis Furniture delivery truck in the 400 block of Cole Street.
Patterson was arrested and held on $5500 cash only bond.
