POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - Brandon Scott is only seven years old, and he's dedicated five of those years to a special charity.  The Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis has a yearly even called Pull Tabs for the Pandemonium.
Brandon is changing lives...one tab at a time.
The Ronald McDonald House allows families of children in the pediatric hospital have a home away from home.
Kim Scott, Brandon's mother, knows exactly what it feels like to be stuck at the hospital...wishing you were home.
At 23 months old, Brandon was diagnosed with T-cell Leukemia.  He has undergone chemotherapy, brain radiation, several spinal taps and bone marrow aspirations, brain surgery and numerous kidney stone surgeries.
Brandon's been through a lot to say the least, and now that he is in remission he is giving back.
The first year he collected 148 pounds.  This year his goal is 1,000 pounds.  At last check, he made it to the 800 mark but he could still use your help!
If you want to help out feel free to get more information from the Danny Bell Cancer Treatment Center in Poplar Bluff at 573-686-5300 or 573-300-6195.
